This is the main climb for desperate people out in the Prairies. The climb is not much for those with a bit of experience, but it is a great place to take out beginners. The ice is formed from a seep that comes out of the emergency spillway from Jensen's Resevoir. This means it does not need snow to form. The river bottom where things are located is a refridgerator. Expect things to form up early, middle November, and to last quite a while, mid April. At the top of the climb, the concrete walls have a couple of large pipes that can be tied off for anchors. However, the long flat section at the top of the route means you will have to have at least 20 feet of slings to top rope with a 60m rope.
