Lineham Left Smear

Little is really known about the first ascent of this climb. During most seasons an apathetic smear forms up down low on the north face of Lineham. While it looks to be of reasonable length, apparently alot of the apparent length is low angled steps. The actual climbing is reported to be under a pitch in length. It was first climbed during a fairly active spindrift storm. The amount of terrain above the route may convince you to go looking elsewhere for low angled grade 2 ice.
