This is the main climb in the area. It makes a great spot when many of the other climbs are out of shape due to long chinooks. Things here can get very windy and cold, so pick a nice day to come here. To get to the Gasser, simply walk up the river bottom after following the trail from the 2nd landing (see the rock climbing section for more details). You can usually wander fairly high up before feeling the need to put on a rope. Often this is at the base of the headwall. A ledge to the right has a large rock with an old pin and a great keyhole that can be slung. This ledge leads down to the rock climbing. Most people takle the low angled ice off to the right. This is broken up by a couple of small ledges, and ends at a set of chains. More adventurous people will takle the left side of the climbs, yielding a good solid W4.
