This is the main route in the ampitheatre. It forms from the runoff from Summit Lake, and needs reasonably cold temperatures to get in shape. The bonding of the ice is poor near the center. Sometimes, several large Cauliflowers may make the route intimidating for the grade. While things can often be fairly challengin near the bottom, sweet ice up top usually makes up for spent arms on the difficulties below.
